The purpose of the visit was to observe the departure of the bats to determine species existing in the reserve.

We met at the residence of Noemí Maldonado Freytes, owner of the farm. We were accompanied by Victor Rivera, municipal director of emergency management. We were also accompanied by a group belonging to the Bat Conservation Program, Coordinator Yaniré Martínez and his mentor Dr. Armando Rodríguez of the Inter-American University of Bayamón. There were 3 performers of CabaCoop: Indira, Myriam and Aneudie.

The results will be sent to us later, but we anticipate the presence of 🦇 Pteronotus Portoricensis, an endemic species of Puerto Rico.
